Includes details of Roger Williams, owner of Williams's Coffee House, St James's Street and the circle of John Wootton, the horse painter. Williams inherited what was to become known as the Godolphin Arabian from Edward Coke and passed or sold the horse onto the 2nd Earl of Godolphin.
